The cottage has some fabulous sea views. From the property you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets from the kitchen and lounge. There is plenty to do in Westward Ho!, you can enjoy some wonderful walks, fabulous restaurants and tea rooms . Westward Ho! A blue Flag Awarded beach is only a few minutes drive or walkable at 7/10 minutes. We are on a hill, hence the views. Make sure you have a Hockings ice cream. For generations this good old Devonian ice cream has been a hit.
Getting around
Walking to The beach is about 7/10 minutes. We are on a hill hence the views. Driving is literally less than a mile to the beach. If you are bringing your bikes there is a wonderful cycle trial which takes you all around the coastal area this is know as the Tarka Trail. Within a short walk from the cottage there are buses that go into Bideford and to other coastal towns.
